One Last ‘POP’ Before National Night Out

One Last ‘POP’ Before National Night Out

We are just one week away from National Night Out, which is 6-9pm Tuesday, Aug. 6, at the Saginaw Township Soccer Complex across from Valley Lutheran High School on McCarty Road. Enjoy games, prizes and fellowship with your Peace family as we get the word out about all Peace has to offer. Come on out for a free frisbee, Peace tote bag and more! Be sure to wear a Peace shirt if you have one.

CAN YOU HELP? We need pop 2-liters by THIS SUNDAY, Aug. 4. The Peace Lutheran Ministries tent at National Night Out provides prizes to kids and families who visit. A big treat for the kids is always our 2-liter pop prize! The kids absolutely love getting their own 2-liter. But it takes A LOT OF 2-LITERS (about 300)! We have hundreds of kids who line up to play our frisbee game for prizes, so we could use your help. If you could pick up a few 2-liters of pop the next time you’re at the grocery store to donate, we’d be ever appreciative. We’re collecting them in the church (Adams Campus) foyer through this Sunday, Aug. 4. Thank you for any help you can provide!

National Night Out is put on locally by the Saginaw Township Police Department. We will join over 16,000 communities across the United States hosting National Night Out events. The Saginaw Township event is the largest in the state of Michigan! Numerous nonprofit volunteers will be on hand to provide a carnival atmosphere with several inflatable bounce houses and obstacle courses for children, along with face painting, games, prizes, balloons and lots of free fun for kids of all ages. Bring the entire family — we look forward to seeing you at the Peace tent Aug. 6 at National Night Out!

Our Mission at Peace

We are Disciples Who GATHER, GROW and GO to Make Disciples.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son
and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. — Matthew 28:19-20
